This Jira is for foll. enhancements for the 5G OOF SON use case in Istanbul release:

• Definition of necessary yang models - including 3GPP/O-RAN based network models, and supplementary models as needed for the use case. - This has been done (as per Sandeep email 9/15)

Although there has been progress made, the following items are not feasible in this release and are thus being deferred to Jakarta release.

• Use of O-RAN/3GPP yang models for 5G - sending edit-config to RAN, receiving CM-Notify from RAN, etc.

• Interface to CPS (instead of Config DB) including new APIs and the new yang models.

• Enhancements in handling the DMaaP CM-Notify message from VES-Collector (sent by RAN), and subsequent update of the DB entries. Assumption: CM-Notify is handled by VES Collector and posted as a DMaaP message.
