Based on the ORAN and ONAP alignment, there is a need to add a stndDefined domain to VES collector.
For details - see links section, main efforts seen in:

• VNF Requirements (schema to be updated)
• DCAE project (VES modifications)
• Integration project (E2E test-suite to be contributed)

This will require (at least) the following updates:

• Update VES CommonEventFormat schema (current version 30.0.1)
• Update VES routing configuration to point to dedicated topics for stndDefined events
• Add Integration Tests (CSIT) covering the new domain in VES collector
• Make sure, we can expose external JSON schema and schemaReference to VES collector for validation
• Make sure event JSONs are validated against schema files, using schemaReference as a pointer to respective file
• Possibly, create a Jenkins job (or another mechanism), which will retrieve schemas, and create a schema repository as an initContainer
• Make sure the initContainer (or another mechanism) is provisioning the external schemas to a place accessible by a VES collector.

The exact scope will be defined after the discussions and clarifications in ONAP ARCHCOM, as well as with DCAE PTL - Vijay.
