Team level notification+E2E testing of in/out dependency changes - procedure
In the 20171218 PTL meet (Ran, Seshu, Michael Lando, MIchael O'Brien, Gildas, Kenny) we discussed how teams can verify than any externally facing change does not break other components (API change)
Actions
- dependency graph (see prototype on the release-planning page) on all components to determine north and southbound projects -
OOM-523 - OOM to provide a set of deployment scenarios (already can) on each subtree for each component
- Communication strategy (send to onap-discuss) for any external API changes
- CI/CD system kicks off a build on a developer branch/draft and retrofits the specific docker image tag for this change into the tag set for OOM deployment - so the dev can run the e2e test
- Finish automating the vFW so the current CD job can run more than healtcheck and robot init
