To enable conflict free scheduling for making changes to elements, ticket information about topology data is required to ensure
- All of the network elements required to accomplish the change are available
- No outages will be experienced while the changes are being made
Each carrier will necessarily have various ways of tracking scheduled changes to elements in the network.
For the purposes of conflict avoidance, the ticket management API must support requests for tickets reflecting scheduled outages of elements returned by the topology API. This information should contain the start time and duration of the scheduled outage on each element in the query.
