Better Handling of "version" field value with clients

    Description

      Currently we support single digit Integer values as the policy-version, but there are places in the PAP API where the major.minor.patch are required. We should be consistent in the value for policy-version.

       

      For either the Simple : either major.minor.patch or single digit 

      For Rich API: recommendation is to use major.minor.patch -> need this api to support single digit.

       

       

      clients can send single digit or major.minor.patch

          • Medium - Failure of non-critical aspects of the system but results in an inconvenient situation. It causes some undesirable behavior, but the system is still functional. There is a reasonably satisfactory workaround. It is still a valid defect that should be corrected May be fixed after the release or in the next release.
