At the moment, properties are defined in the Tosca and values for those properties can be updated at instance-creation-time on the ACM side. These properties are then supplied to the participant.
This Jira is to add the capability to use "special" properties that only the participant itself can update. These properties will be present in the Tosca template definitions but will be marked with a special "statusProperty" boolean in the property definition metadata.
metadata:
statusProperty: true
At instance deployment, the values for the properties that the participant wishes to set will be retrieved from another service "somewhere" by the participant. The property values are then set in some Map and returned through Kafka message to ACM-R - where they are saved in the database.
