Description of Use Case / Requirement:

Majority of LTE and 5G RAN networks today are running exclusively on IPv6.
IPv4/IPv6 dual stack solution for ONAP is needed to enable integration.
Initial updates in ONAP platform have been already done in the past:

An updated is planned as well in Istanbul release:

Additionally, in order to enable the community to have the IPv4/IPv6 DS as a global requirement, a PoC CI environment has been implemented in ONAP/Honolulu release, and the CI results are available here:
      https://logs.onap.org/onap-integration/daily/onap_daily_nokia_dualstack_master/

Within ONAP/Istanbul release, we`d like to promote this REQ to become a Best Practice/Global Requirement (all code).
We have received positive feedback about this proposal in the PTL call 2021-04-12, esp. from the OOM PTL.
