In order to ease on-boarding for new comers (like myself) on the SDC project, we could write a wiki page containing references to the coding/design best practices being enforced.

These could be books (Effective Java, Java 8 In Action, Clean Code, ...), or simply general principles (Single Responsibility Principle, Open-Close Principle, Demeter's law, etc...).

Any suggestion is welcome.
