Use system DNS resolver and not the nginx resolver

XMLWordPrintable

In OOM style deployments, certain environments have kube dns deployed and certain environments have core dns of K8S deployed. It is not clear which dns value to be provided in the helm chart for the LOCALDNS environment variable. Both can be provided but the absolute value of these dns services is not known beforehand. The approach to resolve this is to use the dns values in the system DNS resolver (/etc/resolv.conf) which nginx loads by default during startup and not use the nginx resolver which is typically used in dynamic environments where IPs are bound to change.
