ONAP Logging Guidelines (https://wiki.onap.org/download/attachments/1015849/ONAP%20application%20logging%20guidelines.pdf?api=v2) talk about MDC field - PartnerName as ‘This field contains the name of the client application user agent or user invoking the API if known.’. Currently user name is placed in PartnerName in LogFilter. While debugging if we know client application, then it helps to locate logs which triggered this API. So recomendation is to add new MDC ‘FromApp’ which contains identity of calling application.
Another approach can be to set PartnerName to client application similar to AAI and not to use username as in current SDNC LogFilter code.
