      This Epic covers the various impacts in SO for the E2E Network Slicing use case in Guilin release. This includes:

      (a) Improvements in SO acting as NSMF, and its interactions with OOF for NSI selection (Frankfurt functionality)

      (b) NSI termination

      (c) Enhancements in SO-NSSMF adaptor to interact with all NSSMFs (RAN, Core, Transport)

      (d) SO-NSMF enhancements to cover triggering of NSSMFs (RAN/Core/Transport) for NSSI allocation

      (e) SO-NSSMF functionality for RAN, Core and Transport sub-nets

      (f) Closed loop actions (simple) with SO as actor

      (g) Support ModifyConfig (Day 2) configuration of NFs

          • High - Severely impaired functionality. Erratic performance and reduced system availability. It may cause major components or features of the system to be unavailable although certain parts of the system remain functional. A workaround may exist but its use is unsatisfactory or at a high time cost (manual intervention required). Must be fixed in any of the upcoming builds and should be included in the current release.
