I am reporting a potential new feature, which might be implemented in APPC.
I see it beneficial to have the possibility to test in the CDT, a health-check action against z VNF/PNF configured.
This would help to check, if the Health-Check was configured properly in the APPC.
The extension of a GUI would cover following:
- Add a section in CDT, which allows to fill-up parameters needed by APPC LCM: Healtch-Check
- This section to be deployed under following conditions:
- Health-Check action selected in CDT for a given VNF Type
- "Execute Health-Check for a VNF instance" clicked (new button to be added)
- In a new section, after the button is clicked:
- A list of VNF instances (from AAI) displyed, using a filter of specific VNF Type, for which a VNF
- An instance search available - accepting VNF instance name and/or VNF ID (uuid)
- After a VNF instance selected, auto-fill service-instance-id and vnf-id, with a possibility to modify these parameters
- A button "Health-Check VNF instance" displayed
*After "Health-Check VNF instance" button is clicked, an appc-provice-lcm:healthcheck action executed, using parameters collected before, local server time, aso.
- The GUI shall display the response of the API (message: request accepted), as well as auto-refresh of APPC-provider-LCM queue with APPC answers.
