As is the case with many OpenDaylight implementation classes for public Yang models, the implementation code does follow the same pattern as classes generated by yangtools ... and so needs to be handled as a special case.

RouteDistinguisher is an example. To create a new instance, instead of creating a builder and calling its build() method (as in yangtools-generated code), one must call a static method on the RouteDistinguisherBuilder class to create a new instance.
