We use alot of optional fields - some of which are not appropriate for some circumstances.
The O-RAN Spec reuses types alot - with constraints described in spec documents rather than in the schema.

Reasons:

• More specific documentation / examples
• Unclear presence/usage of optional fields
• Easier to test
• Easier to check spec compliance
  Cons:
• Adapters needed to translate similar objects of different Java types
• More complex openapi/more schemas
