Currently for dmi-registry we use kebab-casing: cm-handle-state  (as is the convention for Yanl and xml-based formats)
For the JSON output of the same we (the convention is to) use camelCasing: cmHandleState

This is creating inconsistencies in our API.
Investigate impact of conforming to kebab-casing / camelCasing for both
