As per CPS-1974, the JAR produced by spring-boot-maven-plugin should have a maven classifier, so that the JAR filename has a '-springboot' suffix.

Thus the filename of the Spring Boot JAR should be cps-application-3.4.3-springboot.jar, while the original (non Spring Boot JAR) will be cps-application-3.4.3.jar

The motivation of this is so that both JARs will be published to ONAP Nexus repository.
