The Ericsson SO team (Andrew Lamb, Waqas Ikram, Gareth Roper, Eoin Hanan) found the following bug during their package management notification testing, leveraging ETSI Catalog Manager.

ETSI Catalog Manager fails to store the subscription request data into its subscription database. The following is the testing sequence for your review.

      • SOL003 Adapter sent a subscription request to ETSI Catalog Manager (see the attached request.json for the subscription request)
      • ETSI Catalog Manager received the subscription request information (runtime_catalog.log)

      • but then it failed to put part of that information into the database (the sql command does not contain the notification types, the vnfId, the vnfPkgId, etc.) (django.log)

      • So, the ETSI Catalog Manager did not store this information in its database

      • the lack of notification type and others being stored causes the SOL003 Adapter and VNFM package management notification failure.
