This Story consists of tasks related to ISTIO helm charts to enable security features for microservices
The Task list is as below
- Add ISTIO helm charts (Gateway and VirtualService) to individual microservices
- Test the connectivity to and from each microservice for reachability and also verify the connectivity from outside the cluster if the microservice is exposed
- Add features required by the application that ISTIO can provide as part of Helm charts
- Develop test case to implement the user authentication and Authorization for various combinations to access to resources with ISTIO at the backend of K8s cluster using OAuth
