There is a need to agree on the purpose of the modularity activity definition and focus.

In general it was commented that the two definitions are not mutually exclusive and that was acknowledged.  Equally it was acknowledged that we need to focus.  The re-usable aspect was appreciated.

In general the consensus was to proceed according to slide  5

• decomponse components into micorservices
• microservices can be scaled/updated/upgraded independantly
• Microservices can even be replaced
• Micorservices can/mightbe shared

And proceed as:

• use that as the definition of modularity
• find terminology for replacability
• Identify one candidate for Dublin
• propose infra structure features for all components in future releases
• create a repository of microservices
• get ptls involved
• revisit replacability.
