Taking looking into security of the managed environment, this could be represented as an application using ONAP.  The questions to explore is how does this application use ONAP, what are the options and approaches.

• Have demonstrated that ONAP can work with 3pp controllers southbound, and other orchestrators east-west.  How does ONAP work with applications that may be out of ONAP.
• An external Security manager is an example, but there could be other examples.
• It was comment that interactions would help.
• Policy is an example
• CDS was raised as an option
• The idea of using the external API and the external managed entiy approach from that was raised.
• There was a request to dig more into the types of actions and types of insights.
• Other examples would be appreciated
• There was a suggestion to use VES to send events
• Need to understand the framework that understand the analytics and policies and how it interacts with ONAP manages.

The discussion indicates that there is interest to take this forward.  Start with the high level scenario (s) and identify the questions to be addressed and the examples of the types of interactions required (e.g. configure VNF, recieve analytics from xyz).
