Add Operation fails with error code POL5000 and Status Code 500

Michael Lando clarifications:

the issue happens not when you add the operation but when you do not choose an input value and press on input and try to create the work flow.

that is when you recive the 500 error.

to recreate:

1. add operation to a vf.
2. populate al filedes but do not map a property to the input.
3. press on out put and press create.
4. you will receive 500

in the log it looks like the we are failing on a null pointer.

the issue should be addressed in the back end to avoid the NPE.

and in the UI the create should not be active until the fields have been chosen.
