Overview

The DCAE-DS plugin creates the VFCMT with subcategory 'Monitoring Template'. In the service and under the Monitoring tab (dcae-fe repo) the "Add first MC" button looking for the resource with a subcategory 'Base Monitoring Template'.

Technical deatals

The DCAE-DS UI sent the post request only with the:

{name: [name], description: [description]}

information in the request body.

The createVFCMT endpoint (in the VfcmtController:122 line) checking the request and if the subcategory isn't set up, this method used the default subcategory which is the "Monitoring Template" (VfcmtBusinessLogic:279).

Expected Result

The DCAE-DS plugin should create the VFCMT with subcategory 'Base Monitoring Template'
