In the composition view of a VF, add a VFC that contains interface definition(s).

Select the VFC in the composition view and select the interfaces tab on the right hand side

In the edit Operation dialog, change the value of the implementation name.

The node template for the VFC contains the interface information, but the implementation name is the original value rather than the user input value.
