Any interfaces on the VFND node type definition are included in the node type definition in the NSD csar without there being any way to set any required input values. It may or may not be desirable to set the operation inputs in the NSD depending on the VFN.

For now we do not support setting the VNF operation input values in the NSD nor do we support selecting if the operations should be exposed in the NSD. We should therefore remove the interfaces from the node type definition in the NSD to avoid the situation where interfaces with required inputs are defined in the node type definition but there is no way to specify values for them in the corresponding node template in the NSD.

A possible future enhancement could be to provide functionality to support setting the inputs etc but this is not required for now
