Story SDC-4435 prevents a value being set on a property of a service when a VFC is not created for the service substitution node mapping type. However, it in-inadvertently also prevents a property of an instance in the service being set. It should still be possible to set the value of an instance property in a service, regardless of the value of doNotExtendBaseType for the service category
