Development of CPS Delta Feature

CPS Delta feature is a new feature to be introduced in CPS, where CPS can find the delta/difference between two configurations. There will be 2 ways to find the delta, based on the configuration

• The configurations will be stored in 2 anchors
• Reference configuration will stored in an anchor, and a delta will be calculated against second configuration provided as a payload (in JSON format)

The delta should be returned in form of a JSON patch document and be sent over Kafka events.

The development will take place in 2 phases

• First implement the scenario where both configurations are present within 2 different anchors
• Second implement the scenario where one configuration is stored within an anchor and the second configuration is passed on as a JSON payload.
