When configuration is updated in RAN-Sim (either via O1, or via ran-app), a CM Update Notification VES message should be generated and sent over O1. Ideally we should make a config change and have the CM VES message generated automatically. Alternately, we can use a script to generate the message for testing the rest of the flow.
