In Dublin, ONAP will support k8s based VNFs. So we need vnfsdk to validate cloud technology specific artifacts.  See https://jira.onap.org/browse/ONAPARC-282 for k8s support info:

Cloud specific artifacts are expected to be put in as zip/tar format in CSAR.  VNF SDK is normally called to validate the CSAR and even the artifacts within the CSAR.  It is expected that VNF SDK does following:

• Extract the cloud specific artifacts
• For each cloud technology
  • Validate using Cloud technology validator
  • Develop K8S validator which uses 'helm lint' to find out any issues with helm charts
